The Plaintiff was lawfully driving his vehicle through a busy junction in Dublin City Centre and suffered serious injury when the Defendant’s motor vehicle failed to yield right of way and collided broad side with the Plaintiff’s motor scooter.
The particulars of personal injury occasioned by the wrong of the defendant were both physical and psychological. The Plaintiff also suffered loss of earnings as a result of the injury.
The matter settled for a considerable sum on the day of the trial but prior to the actual hearing of the matter.
