Lavelle Partners are proud to continue their sponsorship of the Peter McVerry Wexford Cycle.
This year, as with most things, the cycle is a little different. The team usually assemble on a saturday in Wexford to cycle as much of the 140km route as they can. The Covid-19 pandemic means that participants have instead, been cycling in various locations across the country, clocking up miles and donations in multiple locations.
Along with sponsorship of the event, the team from Lavelle Partners cycled over 800km between September 12th and 19th, and so far, have raised over €2000.
The funds raised will help the Peter McVerry Trust continue to provide vital services to people impacted by homelessness. During Covid-19, the Trust have worked alongside various government bodies to provide vital services to the homeless throughout this unprecedented crisis. At the same time, funds and donations have decreased, so now, more than ever, all donations are welcome.
